NACU to Deliver Summer Institute Content in Online Format

April 9

NACU is in the process of finalizing content for its 2020 Summer Institute which will be offered as a series of free, synchronous and asynchronous online modules this spring.

The consortium is continuing to partner with the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) to help its campuses develop strategies designed around the Summer Institute’s original theme of The New Leadership Imperative: ROI Mindset for Mission and Financial Sustainability.

The content is designed for campus leadership (President, Provosts, CFO, VPs) and other emerging leaders at the institution. The modules will include a set of strategic questions for leadership teams, an online template for capturing and sharing results, and the opportunity to gather for deeper conversation. Further, the live sessions will be recorded and distributed to NACU campus leadership.

The preliminary list of topics include:

  • NACU Institutions in Today’s Context and the Case for Shifting Strategy Based on ROI
  • Collaboration and Economies of Scale to Relieve Pressures and Costs
  • Creating Infrastructure to Allow Lifelong Learning in Diverse Populations
  • Prioritization Process for Growth and Focus

It is expected that the first module will be released in late May. NACU will send final information to its campuses in April.
