York College of Pennsylvania Joins the New American Colleges & Universities

The New American Colleges & Universities (NACU) is pleased to announce that York College of Pennsylvania has joined its national consortium of innovative, mission-driven institutions dedicated to integrating liberal education, professional preparation, and civic engagement.
Founded in 1787, York College of Pennsylvania is distinguished by its focus on experiential learning and community engagement, providing students with opportunities to apply knowledge in real-world contexts that make a difference. Rooted in a high-impact, student-centric philosophy, the College is driven by a deep commitment to affordability and access. York’s approach to hands-on learning, civic purpose, and equitable opportunity mirror the missions of NACU’smember institutions.

As a NACU institution, York College’s administrators, faculty, and staff will gain access to peer learning communities, professional development opportunities, and collaborative initiatives that connect academic and administrative leaders across member campuses. The College will also gain access to NACU’s signature programs, including the Leadership Development Institute and the Strategic Partnerships Hub.
