NACU Opens Registration for Fourth Year of Leadership Development Program

The New American Colleges and Universities is pleased to announce that registration is open for its Leadership Development Institute (LDI), formerly known as the Emerging Leaders Institute. This fully online program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders across various functional areas of colleges and universities. The six modules will equip individuals with the skills and insights needed to navigate today’s complex leadership landscapes.

Over the past three years, NACU has welcomed both emerging and somewhat seasoned leaders into its leadership development program. This year’s program will differentiate between the two levels of experience in one of the modules, acknowledging that while many aspects of leadership development are similar no matter what level of professional, there is an opportunity to better customize the program for those who are new to leadership positions and those who have some experience managing teams.

“We are thrilled to launch our newly revamped Leadership Development Institute, which reflects our commitment to developing innovative leaders who are prepared to tackle today’s most pressing challenges,” said Dr. Sean Creighton, president, NACU. “Our goal is to help our campuses develop leadership capacity across functional areas by providing a low-cost, fully online program that brings together people from various functional areas to learn with and from each other.”
