Summer Institute Live Session I: Collaborations & Economies of Scale to Relieve Pressure and Costs

In partnership with the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), this will be the first of two live sessions covering topics for the 2020 NACU Summer Institute.

Dr. Jim Hundrieser, vice president of consulting at NACUBO, will lead the following session:

Many institutions are wondering or discussing where economies of scale could occur through partnerships or more significant collaborations. This session shares successful partnerships as a frame for potential collaboration opportunities among NACU campuses and will discuss how to accelerate a process for moving from concept to execution.

About the 2020 Summer Institute

Collectively, we can create strategic collaborations that achieve unprecedented results and, ultimately, perpetuates the mission and financial health of our campuses. Having this goal in mind, NACU is repurposing its  Summer Institute to an online platform.

In partnership with NACUBO, we will deliver a series of modules to advance strategies for the future designed around the institute’s theme of The New Leadership Imperative: ROI Mindset for Mission and Financial Sustainability. The content is designed for campus leadership (President, Provosts, CFO, VPs) and other emerging leaders at the institution. The pre-recorded modules will include a set of strategic questions for leadership teams and the live sessions will also be recorded for broader distribution at NACU campuses.
