Building Resilience in Times of Disruption: Online Leadership Development from the Center for Creative Leadership

May 28, 2020
2:00 pm
- 3:30 pm EDT

Each NACU campus is invited to have one representative participate in this free leadership development training with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).

This interactive session is designed as a personal, focused, and engaging learning experience with experiential exercises, peer-to-peer learning, reflection, and interaction. In addition to leadership development, the goal is to foster connection and community among participants and the hope is that attendees will share what they’ve learned with campus teams.

In the face of dramatically changing circumstances, stress is a growing problem leading to increased accidents, absenteeism, turnover, lower quality of work, and ultimately revenue loss. Low levels of resilience take a toll on leaders’ health, mood, cognitive capacity and productivity. Powered by CCL’s global research and practice, this module will help leaders understand the importance of resilience as well as practical ways to enhance both personal and team effectiveness.
Participants will:
  • Understand four areas of resilience: physical, mental, emotional, and social
  • Enhance personal resilience with proven leadership practices including exercise, sleep, mindfulness, reappraisal, positivity, gratitude, connections, and contact
  • Help your colleagues and teams to be resilient over time

If you would like to participate, please contact Michelle Apuzzio. Please note that we can only accept one participant per campus.
