EVENT DETAILS
Student success efforts work best when they’re embedded into the fabric of the institution. Join Knack and NACU for an insightful discussion showcasing how two NACU institutions, Moravian University and Hampton University, are leading the way in making academic support accessible across every course and discipline.
Hear directly from Chris Hassay, Associate Director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Moravian University, and Jordan Carson, Director of the Ronald McNair Scholars Program at Hampton University. They will share actionable strategies for building scalable, peer-driven support systems that drive equitable outcomes, strengthen retention, and ensure no student falls through the cracks.
Rooted in NACU’s core values of personalized teaching, flexible scholarship, and the meaningful integration of classroom and community, this session will demonstrate how peer tutoring can evolve from an ancillary service to a critical pillar of academic success. Discover how peer-to-peer tutoring not only advances equity and access but also forges stronger bonds between students while improving student outcomes.
